Abstract

This book aims to present and critically analyze the first stage of the “Program for the economic empowerment of women and strengthening of women’s governance and leadership in local – regional development processes”, whose strategy of intervention is coherent with the territorial approach. This program, also known by the acronym MyDEL (Women and Local Economic Development) has been implemented in 2006-08 in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras e Nicaragua.
